Multi-talented actress Emma Stone has slowly worked her way up the ranks of the Hollywood elite. Starting off in small supporting roles, she began to see bigger parts as more casting agents took notice.
It wasn’t until her role as Jules in Judd Apatow’s hilarious teen comedy Superbad that she became a household name. Soon started seeing lead roles in movies like the modern-day Scarlet Letter remake, Easy A and the racially-charged period drama, The Help.
Finally, she reached the pinnacle of celebrity fame for her critically-acclaimed role in the musical, La La Land, even taking home the Oscar for best actress. Now, according to Forbes, she is the highest paid actress in Tinseltown.
Outside of her illustrious career, the 29-year-old has dated some interesting names in Hollywood. Since we already gave you the ‘cliff notes’ version of her filmography, let’s jump into her past love life and highlight the lucky men that got to call Stone their GF.
Although Stone’s 2008 comedy The Rocker fell flat at the box office, one positive that emerged from the film was her relationship with teen heartthrob and co-star Teddy Geiger. The “For You I Will” singer met Stone on the set of the movie, and after filming was done, they continued their fling off screen. Yet, the couple seemed to call it quits just a few years later.
Oddly enough, Stone moved on to actor Kieran Culkin, the brother of Macauly Culkin of “Home Alone” fame. The couple appeared as lovers in the 2009 film, Paper Man, yet split when Emma started filming her part as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-man. Still, it seems that the relationship ended mutually, as the former couple worked together on the 2013 box office flop, Movie 43.
The most notable of Stone’s former boy toys is her superhero co-star Andrew Garfield. While filming the Marvel remake, the spidey actor shot his web into Stone’s heart, but they didn’t start dating until a year later.
The whole relationship seemed to have celebrity supercouple written all over it, as the actors quickly rose to fame. They made their red carpet debut in 2012 and even lived together in New York.
Yet, rumors of a ‘Stonefield’ split grew as the actress attended the 2015 Oscars by herself. Eventually it was confirmed that the power couple grew apart as they both focused on their careers, officially breaking up in April 2015. According to US Weekly, Garfield “had been in a dark place for months” while preparing for a role, and the relationship was already on the fritz.
The two celebs have been cordial since the ending their relationship, but Stone fans are begging them to get back together.
Most recently, the lovable redhead has been rumored to be dating SNL director, Dave McCary. She met McCary on the weekly sketch show in late 2016 while promoting La La Land with co-star Ryan Gosling, and the pair has been spotted several times together in public.
While we’re sure that Stone has had a few untold Hollywood romps, the award-winning actress tries to keep her distance from the public eye. That’s okay though, since her mysterious personal life has given her a enduring allure that fans have come to know and love.
