Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their third child via a surrogate in late December or early January, which was recently revealed to be a baby girl.
Kim and Kanye have gone to great lengths to keep the identity of their surrogate under wraps. However, we do know a few details!
Kardashian’s surrogate is 27-years-old and African American. The unidentified woman has been married to her husband for five years. They have two sons of their own.
The woman has been a surrogate previously and even took part in a promotional video for a surrogate agency that described how the process works.
TMZ previously reported that Kardashian and West’s surrogate is prohibited from drinking, smoking, and using drugs during the pregnancy. The woman also agreed to steer clear of hot tubs, hair dye, and raw fish.
The site claims Kim and Kanye will be paying their surrogate $45,000. The sum will be broken down into ten monthly payments of $4,500.
The 37-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was rumored to be having a girl previously, something she accidentally let slip on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Kim Kardashian appeared on the talk show and talked about the baby shower she held over the weekend. The reality star explained that she had the bash for her four-year-old daughter, North. Kardashian felt it would help her young daughter understand the baby would be coming soon.
Kim told the audience that North was enjoying playing with the new toys that were given as gifts at the baby shower. The reality star stated her daughter wanted to keep the toys in her room to make sure they were okay for her ‘baby sister.’
DeGeneres immediately picked up on Kardashian accidentally revealing the gender of her third child. Kim smiled and confirmed they are expecting a girl.
Kim and Kanye began dating in April 2012 and the rapper proposed to her on Oct. 21, her 33rd birthday. The couple tied the knot at Fort de Belvedere in Florence, Italy on May 24, 2014.
