Ryan Gosling has been making the talk show rounds as he promotes his latest movie, “The Nice Guys.” The 35-year-old handsome actor discussed his daughters and confirmed the birth of his second child. Gosling and his girlfriend, actress Eva Mendes, shocked fans when they managed to keep the pregnancy news a secret.
During his appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the host asked him , “Is this true, you’re a daddy for the second time?” Gosling replied, “I am.”
The “Notebook” heartthrob then teased a photo of his infant daughter, which actually was a Photoshop image of a baby with DeGeneres’ head.
Gosling and Mendes’ latest addition to their family, Amada Lee Gosling, was born April 29th in Santa Monica, California. The name Amada is the name of Eva’s grandmother and means “beloved” in Spanish.
The beautiful couple are also parents to a 19-month-old daughter named Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
Mendes, 42, managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps, with rumors only surfacing last month that there could be another baby on the way.
Ryan Gosling recently told USA Today, “For us, especially with kids, unfortunately privacy isn’t something that they’re going to have a lot of.So as much as you can give it to them you feel like that’s what you want to do, you know? It’s the nature of being a parent. You’re protective.”
The actor shared a funny story on Ellen’s show about some chalk drama at a local park with his daughter Esmeralda. It appears the protective dad is not thrilled that some other child is writing over his daughter’s name with chalk.
Gosling shared, “Some kid has been erasing her name and writing their name over it. So now I’m in a proper tagging battle. And this kid has access to an unfair amount of chalk. I’m trying to explain to my little girl that this is [unacceptable.]
The hunky actor went on to add that his daughter does not care at all and would rather just do her art in another location. Of course her angry father wants to erase their name as a payback.
