Rachel Roy was the first woman everyone thought of after Beyonce released her telling visual album, Lemonade, weeks ago. Fans quickly lashed out at Roy, who has been rumored to have had sex with Jay Z. Roy denied the reports, but now hacked private emails might give us all the juicy details!
It appears we might find out if Rachel is the “Becky”, also known as the other woman, that Beyonce was singing about in her new album.
Fans were quick to speculate that the fashion designer could be the one Beyonce was singing about on new track “Sorry”, and she’s also believed to be the reason behind Solange attacking Jay Z in a lift back in 2014.
The truth may finally come out after reports that the fashion designer’s private emails could be made public.
Roy, who was previously married to Jay Z’s former business partner Damon Dash, has reportedly told friends that personal information on her computer has been “stolen.”
A source revealed, “Rachel has confided to friends about the stolen emails. She has no idea how they’ve been swiped but is aware how much harm they can cause. From a personal level, she wanted to distance herself from the furore after initially playing up to the link as Jay Z’s rumored other woman.
“But now she fears the spotlight will be well and truly back on her, Jay Z and Beyonce if these conversations end up online.”
Rachel’s link with Jay Z goes back to the 1990s when she was an intern at Rocawear, the clothing company the rapper co-owned with pal Damon “Dame” Dash, who she went on to marry.
Beyonce has apparently been wary of Rachel’s presence, which is believed to be the reason behind her no-show at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding in 2014.
Jay Z’s cheating ways are believed to have been behind the infamous elevator fight between Jay Z and Beyonce’s sister Solange in 2014 following the Met Gala. Roy was in attendance at the Met Gala after party when he and Solange began to argue.
Sources claimed Solange looked like she would “explode” when she approached Rachel at the event.
Security footage of Solance leaving the bash with her sister Bey and her brother-in-law, Jay Z, show her yelling at Jay before lunging across the elevator kicking and punching him.
Rachel didn’t help matters when she appeared to hint that she was ‘Becky with the good hair’ shortly after Beyonce debuted Lemonade.
Alongside a now-deleted selfie of her laughing in the back of a car she wrote, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
After Beyonce’s fans (the Beyhive) attacked Roy, she later tweeted: “I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.”

Rita Ora also became a target of furious Beyonce fans and also later took to Twitter to deny she was ‘Becky with the good hair’.
It will be very interesting to see Roy’s private emails if they are leaked online.
