Azealia Banks, the annoying and outspoken rapper known as much for her Twitter feuds as her music, was suspended from Twitter after she lashed out at former One Direction star Zayn Malik. Banks posted racist and homophobic comments that also led to her being dropped from a music festival.
The feud kicked off after Banks called Zayn Malik out on social media for having a similar look for his new music video “Like I Would”. She accused him of copying her “Yung Rapunxel” music video. She posted a picture collage on Instagram comparing the two videos.
She wrote in the caption, “Damn, Zayn be mood boarding the s**t out of me… I’m not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie.”
Zayn posted a cryptic tweet that many people believed was directed at Azealia. That’s when she went off! Malik tweeted, “No lies … I see you reaching but I don’t care.” He later added, “My @ss too good for you.”

Azealia went ballistic and tweeted, “Dude, I make better music than you. Simmer down with that fake white boy rebellion and that wannabe Beiber swag.
She continued her attacks, writing, “Lol u a b***h n***a for even responding like that. Keep sucking this yung rapunxel d**k u hairy curry scented b***h.”
The racist tweets kept coming, with Azealia commenting, “Imma start calling you punjab you dirty b***h. You a d**k rider for real for real. Ride this d**k until the wheels fall off Punjab.”
Banks, who is African American, bragged that the US military would kill Malik’s family. Zayn is part Pakistani.
She wrote in one tweet, “U.S.A IS ABOUT TO TEACH YOU WHO NOT TO F**K WITH!! When your entire extended family has been obliterated by good ol the U.S of A will you still be trying to…Act like a white boy pretending to be black? Do you understand that you are a sand n****a who emulates white boys’ renditions of black male hood?”
Zayn Malik responded to the hateful tweets and asked why she was saying the “nasty things” about him.
@AZEALIABANKS why you been saying nasty things about me ? I wasn’t talking about you lol ?

It wasn’t long before Banks’ Twitter account returned a message saying that it was suspended with a link to the service’s conditions, which lists “abusive tweets and behavior” as a reason for suspension.
The New York rapper has been in numerous Twitter feuds, attacking fellow rappers including Iggy Azalea and T.I.
Rinse Born & Bred posted that they were canceling Azealia’s performance, following her controversial tweets.
They announced, “We have decided to cancel Azealia Banks’ headline appearance at Rinse Born & Bred. Rinse Born & Bred is a celebration of rave culture and has been created for EVERYONE. We celebrate inclusivity and equality.”
