Dave Grohl is probably one of the nicest guys in the music world, calling out a drunk and emotional male fan to come up on stage with him.
The Foo Fighters‘ show in Denver, Colorado was paused as they performed “My Hero”, with the singer noticing the crying man in the audience.
The crying fan caught Grohl’s eye, with the singer telling him, “Don’t cry motherf**ker, I know you’re drunk, don’t cry. Are you crying right now? You’re f**king crying aren’t you? I love you man, look at you, holy s**t. You know what, f**k that speech I was just going to make, I’m singing this s**t to you right now.
“I’m gonna sing this f**king song right in your face, man to man, prison style, I’m going man to man. Me and you, I want some real tears, you better sing it with me. Don’t make me cry, because I promised I wouldn’t do this.”

After making it up to the rail, Grohl told him to jump up on stage, feeling a “drunk and crying man” wasn’t too much of a threat.
The Foo Fighters frontman had the fan named Anthony sit down in his chair (even though he has a broken leg), telling him, “I’m gonna stand up with my broken leg and sing this f**king song to your drunk ass right now.”
Grohl hobbled up from his stool and and stood to the side of Anthony, who spun nervously in Grohl’s stool while his hero sung to him.
Anthony decided to join Grohl for a duet and afterwards the singer jokingly said, “get the f**ker off my stage”.
Dave Grohl seems like such an awesome guy.
