Chris Brown appears he will be battling it out in court with his fling, Nia Guzman, over their daughter Royalty.
Guzman has filed legal documents to request supervised visitation when her daughter sees Brown.
Nia feels the 26-year-old singer is not responsible enough to properly care for their one-year-old daughter. She is requesting another adult be present during their visitation.
This is just the latest drama between Chris and Nia. The singer recently requested that a Houston, Texas judge establish official paternity of one-year-old Royalty so he can fight for joint custody.
Brown also has asked to reduce Guzman’s request for $15,000 per month in child support, which he thinks should be closer to $2,500 a month.
Chris refused a $10,000 per month child support agreement in July after being denied access to Royalty while she was visiting his mother, Joyce Hawkins.
Nia’s attempt to retain full custody of Royalty and to limit Chris’ access reportedly stems from her belief that Chris is too irresponsible to care for the child and that he and his friends all have drug problems.
Guzman is also concerned about the armed robbers at Chris’ home on July 15.
Friends of the singer have been rumored to have been behind in home invasion.
The Los Angeles-based gang, the Bloods, have also been implicated in the act.
An insider stated, “[Nia] thinks many of Chris’ friends are gang members or gang-affiliated, and the robbery shows they’ve now turned on Chris”.
During the singer’s acceptance speech at the BET Awards on June 28, he told the crowd, “A lot has changed in my life. A lot of mistakes, a lot of lessons learned. Best thing I’m most thankful for is my daughter”.
Chris shocked everyone when the news came out he had a love child in April. Of course, the person most surprised was his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. She dumped him after find out the reports were true.
