Chris Brown has stated he loves being a father, but it appears he isn’t getting along well with his daughter’s mother.
The singer ranted about Nia Guzman on Twitter, suggesting she is using their daughter Royalty as a way to make money.
The 26-year-old posted on the social media site, “Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets.”
In a second tweet he added, “Using a child as leverage is never ok. The highest praise to the men who actually want their kids.”
Chris had a brief fling with Nia Guzman, which resulted in little Royalty.
She is asking for $15,000 a month in child support. A judge has yet to rule on the matter.
The singer has been paying Nia $2,500 a month but refused to pay in July after Royalty was sent to his mother Joyce when he was supposed to visit.
Brown is attempting to obtain joint custody of his one-year-old daughter, but Guzman wants full custody.
Guzman is worried about Royalty being put in danger with Chris, with his association with gang members and possible drug use around her daughter.
The Kiss Kiss hit maker often shares photos of his daughter on Instagram, describing her as the “best thing in his life”.
