Game Of Thrones’ Lena Headey Gives Birth To Baby Girl


Game of Thrones' Lena Headey welcomes daughter

Lena Headey is now a mom of two, after giving birth to a baby girl.

The Game of Thrones actress, who played who plays Cersei Lannister on the popular show, reveals she has “fallen in love for the second time” with her baby.

Headey tweeted, “Hello peeps. All good. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time.”

Lena revealed her pregnancy in February and requested privacy, also not revealing the identity of the father of the child. The father is rumored to be her co-star Pedro Pascal.

Headey revealed in May she was expecting a daughter, making her 5-year-old son Wylie a big brother.

At the time of the announcement, the actress also shared her passion for women’s rights.

The actress wrote, “I am having a baby girl in six weeks. You have all been so lovely in your message to me, and I thank you for that. My daughter will have freedom of choice. She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion, to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman”.

Lena’s son Wylie was fathered by her ex-husband, Peter Loughran. Their divorce was heart-breaking the actress revealed.

Headey stated, “There’s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It’s a mourning process, and yet nobody’s died.”

Lena Headey previously appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel show, drinking wine out of goblets like her character Cersei, throwing out insults to her drinking partner.

Lena’s next project is voicing a character in the Danger Mouse from BBC.
