We adore Ed Sheeran! Not only does he have a great voice, but he will say whatever comes to his mind.
During a performance in Dublin on Thursday, Sheeran played a little game with the show’s host with a little TMI.
The 24-year-old ginger singer performed at the Whelan Pub to kick-off the Nova FM’s Red Room Global Tour.
Afterwards, he played the “Yes/No” game with Smallzy’s Surgery host Kent ‘Smallzy’ Smalls.
He was asked if he ever passed wind on stage, giving a very detailed answer that appeared to make the host uncomfortable (which was hilarious).
Ed stated, “I actually misjudged a fart on stage once and it ended up being a shart. It was, like, midway through a performance and I was really lively.
“Then halfway through I was like, ‘All right I’m just going to stand for the rest of the performance, and hope it’s over soon and then go home and throw these trousers out!'”
Sheeran didn’t care and continued telling the crowd, “I had flown from London to Tokyo to Sydney to England all in three days and it messed me up and I was very ill”.
The singer was then asked in the game if he’d ever joined the mile high club, telling Smallzy he felt it was more of a thing to do on a private jet and he hadn’t been on one yet.
Sheeran took to the stage in front of 28 lucky Nova competition winners, who were among a room full of Ed’s celebrity friends and guests.
“I was only about 11 or 12 years old when I saw Damien [Rice] play at Whelan’s, and that night literally changed my life,” he told them.
“The time he spent talking with me after the show made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope to do for someone else”.
