Dionne Warwick Discusses Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death On WWHL (VIDEO)

Dionne Warwick was scheduled to appear on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on the same day that Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away at age 22.

Warwick discussed her thoughts on Bobbi Kristina Brown and her cousin, the late Whitney Houston.

Dionne, the 74-year-old singer appeared on the Bravo show along with guest 50 Cent.

Dionne said of Bobbi Kristina, “She was a sweetheart and she will be missed.  And she was a good girl… She was a good little girl, she really was.”

Andy Cohen stated it must be difficult to deal with her passing.

Warwick replied, “It’s not easy that’s for sure. I think it’s because of our faith and strength in our faith. Knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and powerful person or thing that we’ll ever know”.

She adds, “She’s in much better hands now.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on Sunday at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 22.

The Houston family released an official statement regarding the passing of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s only child together.

They stated, “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God.  We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months”.

Bobbi Kristina died six months after she was found unconscious in a bathtub. She was placed in a medically-induced coma on January 31 after she was discovered face-down in the water-filled tub at her townhouse in Roswell, Georgia.

Whitney Houston’s official Facebook page was also updated on Sunday night via family representative.

“It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers.
As Bobbi Kristina would say, ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.'”

Dionne answered a fan question via phone call when asked about her fondest memory of Whitney.

Warwick responded, saying, “Almost impossible to answer that question, she was family”.

She went on to reveal that her family knew Whitney was talented at the age of six when she first started singing.

“I come from a singing family, everyone sang. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree,” Dionne added.
