Bobby Brown “Numb” Over Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death: Autopsy Shows “No Significant Injuries”

Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy shows no "significant injuries"

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s initial autopsy was carried out on Monday, with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office stating there were “no significant injuries” found.

The death certificate will not be issued until further investigation and toxicology reports on the 22-year-old are completed.

The initial postmortem examination was completed the day after Bobbi Kristina passed away on Sunday.

In a statement the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said, “The initial portion of the autopsy has been completed.  The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted.

”No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified. Additional laboratory testing will be performed. Subpoenas have been issued to obtain needed documentary information.

”We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed.”

Bobby Brown devastated over Bobbi Kristina's death

Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, issued a statement on his behalf saying Bobbi Kristina, or Krissy as the family called her, had succumbed to her injuries and taken “her place in heaven.”

Bobby stated, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

Bobbi Kristina’s funeral will be the ”Sweet 16 she never had”.

Friends and family are reportedly planning to make the memorial service a celebration of her short life and as she never went to the prom or had a Sweet 16 birthday party.

The funeral is expected to take place this week in Atlanta before Bobbi Kristina’s body is brought to New Jersey to be buried with her mother Whitney, who died in 2012.

Whitney is buried next to her father, John Russell Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.

She was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Georgia in January and has never regained consciousness.

On Sunday night, Krissy’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was said to be “out of control with regret and sadness” after learning of her death.

An insider stated, “Nick is on suicide watch. He keeps saying that if only [Bobbi Kristina] had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived”.

Another source close to Gordon said, “Nick is very upset. You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much, and is devastated that she is gone.”
