Iggy Azalea and Nick Young are engaged, after the NBA star proposed on Monday night at his 30th birthday party in Los Angeles.

The Australian rapper didn’t hesitate to say “yes”, later showing off her 10.43 cushion cut yellow engagement ring.

The basketball player presented the 24-year-old Australian rapper with a giant Jason Of Beverly Hills engagement ring valued at half a million dollars!

The ring has a 8.15 carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut center stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18 carat white gold.

In a video, you can see Nick getting down on one knee as he asks Iggy to marry him. She obviously said “yes” as friends applauded the couple.

A thrilled Iggy took to social media to share their happy news and show off her ring!

Iggy captioned the photo, “Love you @swaggyp1”, with Nick also writing on social media, “She said yes. It’s over man. I’m getting married!”

Iggy and Nick have been dating for over a year-and-a-half and it was only very recently that he hinted he was considering marriage.

Young was asked if marriage was a possibility, answering, “Of course! Of course! But I can’t give you that surprise. You’re gonna ruin that surprise.”

The engagement news comes just days after Iggy cancelled her world tour via email to ticket holders.

The official statement read, “The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience”.

The rapper was supposed to kick off her string of American shows on September 18 in San Diego, after having previously planned to start her tour in California on April 14.

A statement explained, “It is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development”.
