Rob Kardashian, star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has been in a dark place for quite some time.
There are reports Rob has now entered a Florida treatment center to get help with his depression and alcohol/drug problems.
Rob is reportedly being treated for issues with alcohol, marijuana, cough syrup with codeine (Sizzurp), and weight gain.
An insider said, “Rob is in good spirits and has a positive mindset. He quietly checked into a beachside Palm Beach County drug and alcohol in-patient rehab center over the weekend”.
Mark Behar, who is a celebrity bodyguard and friend of both Kim and Rob, confirmed that the troubled star decided to finally seek help.
Behar stated, ” He told me, ‘This is it, I just need to stick with it and do this”.
A source said, “His regimen includes weight loss and physical training. Rob will probably lose 10 to 20 pounds within the first few weeks by just being in rehab and daily programs relating to his detox.”
Rob has been photographed with friends using both marijuana and sipping Sizzurp, which combines soda with cough syrup containing codeine.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians has shown Rob’s struggles and the reaction from his family. Sadly, his mother Kris Jenner appeared to worry more about his weight gain than his mental health.
Kris previously said, “If I don’t help him do something drastic, he’s going to die. He was someone who was very athletic and he’s gained over 100 pounds in the last year. I’m just waiting for this horrible thing to happen and there’s nothing we can do about it.”
His sister Khloe recently shared, “Rob definitely has his ups and downs, and he’s been struggling for the past year and a half, maybe two years, which I think we’ve all had those times in our life.
“For the last week, he’s been doing better, but I want Rob to do good consistently forever. So right now I’m really proud of him. He’s been working out a little and trying to get his groove back. And he acknowledges it — he’s aware that he’s very introverted and of course not the way he used to be”.
Rob’s mother Kris denied her son was receiving treatment, calling the rehab rumors “completely fabricated.”
We hope it’s true because we want to see him happy again.
