Ozzy Osbourne Donates $10,000 To Kid’s Louisville Leopard Percussionists Group (VIDEO)

Ozzy Osbourne donates $10,000 to percussion band for kids

We have no idea if Ozzy Osbourne enjoys surfing the web, but the rocker heard about the Louisville Leopard Percussionists playing their rendition of Ozzy’s “Crazy Train”.

The former Black Sabbath star generously donated $10,00 to the music education program for kids. So sweet!

Osbourne apparently got to check out the YouTube video of the Leopards rocking their version of Osbourne’s popular song.

Check out the kids in action.  We think every school should offer a cool program like this!

Osbourne sent a letter along with the $10K check, writing, “To the Louisville Leopard Percussionists. Myself, my whole family and my fans all loved your rendition of ‘Crazy Train.’ Keep up the good work. God bless, Ozzy Osbourne.”

Jimmy Page also previously took note of the grade-school musicians, giving them a shout-out in February on his Facebook page after seeing the video of the group perform a medley of Led Zeppelin songs.

The Louisville Leopard Percussionists started up in 1993 and rely primarily on donations as a community non-profit organization.

The group has over 60 students from the ages of 7-14, who come from 48 schools in the Louisville area.

Founder Diane Downs uses a modular approach in the after-school project, teaching each student a specific part of a song.

We think that’s awesome of Ozzy for funding such a cool organization.
