Sammy Hagar and James Hetfield’s second annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert was held on Friday night at San Francisco’s the Masonic, bringing to the stage many surprise collaborations.
One of those included the Metallica singer and his 16-year-old daughter Cali Hetfield sharing an acoustic rendition of Adele’s “Crazy For You.”
Hetfield was a very proud father as Sammy Hagar escorted his oldest daughter to the stage to perform a cover of Adele’s song.
James told the crowd, “Say hi to my beautiful daughter Cali”. He then prompted her to say hello to the crowd. Cali did a lovely job and her father was beaming.
Other performances included Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Linda Perry, Train’s Pat Monahan, Hagar’s Chickenfoot band mates Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith plus actor Adam Sandler.

Linda Perry and Satriani performed “Communication Breakdown.”
Sammy Hagar & Vic Johnson performing “Dreams”
Acoustic-4-A-Cure, which delivered on its promise of “once-in-a-lifetime musical moments, duets, jams and surprise guests,” raised funds and awareness for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
