Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne’s 31-year-old daughter, Aimee Osbourne, has always avoided the spotlight. She even refused to appear on their popular reality series “The Osbournes” years ago.
But now Aimee is making her debut as a singer, releasing a music video for her song “Raining Gold” under the name ARO.
Aimee has always attempted to live life out of the spotlight, unlike her brother Jack and sister Kelly, who starred on the MTV reality series from 2002-2005.
The pretty brunette has not yet unveiled the name of her album or any performance dates.
In the video the singer is seated in diner as a bloody car crash victim crawls on the floor behind her.
She adds, “Once I accepted music was my path, I rebelled by wanting to do it my own way. I also didn’t think it was respectful to my father’s career and creativity to assume that I could jump on the back of all he had worked his entire life for.”
Osbourne explained of her music video for “Raining Gold” that you should never assume anything about someone or a situation just because it looks a certain way on the surface.
She explained, “It’s also about coming to the realization that it’s a choice to allow someone or something to control you. I’ve experienced that a lot, from both sides. I think most people have, yet it’s one of the loneliest things in the world to feel. I wanted the song to touch on how overwhelming and isolating it feels to be constantly misunderstood and the importance of choosing to break free from that and just believing in yourself.”
Aimee adds, “It’s so valuable to always try and put yourself in someone else’s shoes, I hope this song reminds people of that”.
In a tweet (that has since been deleted), her proud mother Sharon tweeted, “Introducing my daughter Aimee Rachel to the world…”
It is obvious Aimee wants to make her way into the music business with her own talent.
