Carrie Underwood is a new mommy after giving birth to a baby boy.
The 31-year-old country singer shared the happy news, along with an Instagram photo of her newborn son’s tiny hands.
Carrie, who previously hinted she and husband Mike Fisher were having a boy, gave fans a peek at her baby.
She captioned the photo, “Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!”
The country singer and her husband of five years, professional hockey player Mike Fisher, met in 2008 after one of her concerts. They became engaged by 2009.
This is the first child for the 31-year-old and her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher.
The pretty blonde used her fur babies to help announce her pregnancy back in September.
She posted the funny picture, “In honor of ‘Labor’ Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier”.
We are certain it was part of their “bit”, but was still cute.
Carrie later explained that she and hubby Fisher asked their doctor to write the baby’s gender and put it in an envelope, which they opened during a romantic dinner.
“[It was] just the two of us in a nicer setting, but we both knew,” she recalled in November. “So, that was just confirming our suspicions. We didn’t really speak of it before, ’cause we were both just like, ‘Whatever. It’s all good.’ But we knew it was a boy.”
