Norman Reedus made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, showing off his crossbow skills in a game of Facebreakers.
The 46-year-old Walking Dead star was promoting the fifth season of the awesome AMC show, which airs March 29.
Reedus appeared in a sharp three-piece black suit by Todd Snyder, looking quite different than his character on the show.
Norman beat out Fallon and had a chance to hit the target in the dunking booth to soak the show’s host. He missed but went ahead and smacked the target anyway.
He told Entertainment Weekly recently of his character, “He goes into a depression and I think he’ll slowly seep back into a dark place, which sucks. [But] there’s some really funny things too. There’s some humor in Daryl in the back eight that just comes from him being him. He’s not really telling jokes, but it’s kind of funny.
“And then there are a couple of moments that are just the saddest. Then there’s a couple of ones that are superhero s***.”
The 16-episode fifth season of The Walking Dead airs Sundays through March 29 on AMC.
Norman previously modeled for Prada, Levi’s, Lexus, and has appeared in music videos for Lady Gaga, Björk, R.E.M., and Radiohead.
He is father to a 15-year-old son Mingus with supermodel, Helena Christensen. That was one tidbit we didn’t know!
