Saturday Night Live Celebrates 40 Years In A Star-Studded Special (VIDEOS)

Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake open SNL with fun video

The “Saturday Night Live” special started off with a bang as Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake recapped the entire series in song (and rap).  They included “D*ck in a Box” and of course needed “more cowbell”.

We also got to see Will Ferrell as Alex Trebek and Betty White make out with Bradley Cooper. Oh, yeah!

Justin Timberlake is not only a great singer, but is so great at comedy.

Jim Carrey created a rather awkward moment on thre red carpet when he asked, “Where are you hiding, Brian Williams?”

Then (doing his best Brian Williams voice) said, “If the helicopter in front of me takes on fire, I’m taking the story.”

Tina Fey’s face was hilarious. It appeared she wanted to laugh but wouldn’t.

Steve Martin’s SNL 40 opening monologue was interesting and full of celebrities.

We loved the Celebrity Jeopardy hosted by Will Ferrell.

Ferrell’s Trebek impression is still so awesome.  Of course they were able to toss in a Bill Cosby joke and Jim Carrey did his best Matthew McConaughey impersonation.

The Californians included the cast members Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen, and Laraine Newman, as well as current cast member Vanessa Bayer. Guest stars this evening included Bradley Cooper, Kerry Washington, Taylor Swift, and the adorable Betty White.

We loved when Betty and Bradley made out.  She got to make out with a hunk and he got to make out with a legend.  A win, win!

There were so many great characters that bring back so many memories for fans.
