Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is on a ventilator in a medically-induced coma after being found submerged face down in a bathtub filled with water at her home.
An update by a family member claims the 21-year-old is brain dead. We certainly hope this is not the case.
Brown’s father Bobby Brown arrived at the hospital last night with Tyler Perry, who was flying by private jet from Los Angeles to Atlanta on business and offered Brown a ride. The two arrived at the hospital last night to be at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside.
Brown was not breathing and did not have a heartbeat when she was lifted out of the water.
It is not known just how long Bobbi Kristina was deprived of oxygen, but irreversible brain damage can occur within minutes.
Investigators are trying to determine if she attempted suicide or was met with foul play.
Police searched the home and did not find any drugs, but that doesn’t mean drugs weren’t removed from the home before police arrived.
One of her cousins claimed Bobbi Kristina didn’t do drugs, but we know this isn’t true.
The same cousin said that Bobbi Kristina is “stable”, but that doesn’t mean she will make live. “Stable” means the patient’s condition hasn’t changed. A person could be referred to as “stable” that is terribly ill and another ready to leave the hospital and go home.
There are unconfirmed reports that Bobbi and her husband Nick had a nasty fight last week and he moved out to stay with a friend. The source claims Brown reportedly called Gordon from the bathroom to say she was going to take her life.
Her most recent tweets appear to confirm trouble in paradise:
Roswell, Georgia police responded to a 911 call and arrived at Bobbi Kristina’s home at 10:25 a.m.
Officer Lisa Holland said in a statement that responding officers immediately used life-saving measures.
Brown’s mother Whitney Houston died of accidental drowning on Feb. 11, 2012. Heart disease and cocaine use were both listed in the coroner’s report.
