Kanye West Needs To Get Over Himself: Rapper Goes On Rant After Grammys (VIDEO)

Kanye West's Grammy incident with Beck no joke

Most of us found it rather amusing when Kanye West pretended to go up on the stage at the 2015 Grammys last night, after Beck beat out Beyonce for Album of the Year. But that was because we thought it was a joke.

Sadly, Kanye wasn’t poking fun at himself and went off on a rant after the awards ceremony to E! News.

The rapper ran after Beck as he accepted his award for Album Of The Year, which appeared to be a nod to his 2009 stage ambush on Taylor Swift. You might remember he told the audience Beyonce should have won over Taylor at the VMAs.

We are thinking someone is secretly in love with Beyonce.  Hmmm…

This time Kanye decided against addressing the audience, which was a relief to everyone including Beyonce and her husband Jay Z. Check out Jay Z and Queen Bey’s faces go from shock to relief (obviously also thinking West was poking fun at himself).

Kanye made it obvious it was no joke as he chatted with E! News after the Grammy Awards.

The rapper said, “We ain’t gonna play with them no more. Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé.”

He continued, “At this point – we’re tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental music. You are disrespectful to inspiration.”

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, appeared shocked as her husband was going off on the rant. But she agreed with him.

At one point Kim said, “I wish he had of said something [on stage] ”. Maybe these two are meant for one another after all.

In our opinion, Kanye and Kim are telling the world to be sore losers.

Beck took the high road and later told reporters that he agreed with Kanye and also thought Beyonce should win.

Beck said, “I was so excited he was coming up! He deserves to be on that stage”.

He was asked if he had hard feelings about Kanye’s actions, saying, “You can’t please everybody. I still love him and think he’s genius. I aspire to what he does. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?”.

We may like a few of Kanye’s songs, but his attitude sucks.

Would the rapper have been fine if Beck had been a black man? Or someone he considered a good artist?

Frankly, we found Kanye’s Grammy performance cringe-worthy and almost feel sorry for him thinking it was good.

Most of us could sound decent with autotune and jump around in the dark over a fog machine.
