Justin Bieber is accustomed to making teenage girls go crazy, but this time he is trying his charm on a much older woman.
The singer will appear in a funny new show called “Repeat After Me”, with former Reno 911 star Wendi McLendon-Covey telling people what to do through an earpiece.
Justin Bieber’s preview clip shows the singer ready to take bowling ladies from a sweet old lady, who has no idea he is being fed information by comedienne Wendi McLendon-Covey.
The bowling teacher walks in and Wendi instructs him to say, “The Biebs only does hugs”.
McLendon-Covey then has Bieber tell the teacher he’s wanting to work on his bowling skills for a new movie called Bieber Be Ballin’.
The Goldbergs star then tells Justin to add, “It’s a documentary about how good I am about handling balls”.
The instructor laughs at Bieber’s comments as she shows him how to bowl.
Wendi, 45, tells him to “stay close” to the instructor and “hug her and don’t let go” when she turns around in the lane.
The instructor seems to be quite happy to have the young stud hugging her from behind, until Wendi has him ask her if she has “ever robbed a liquor store”.
“No,” she responds, jerking out of Bieber’s embrace. “Why would I want to do that?”
The reality show, inspired by exec producer Ellen DeGeneres’ signature talkshow segment, will see host Wendi McLendon-Covey guide celebrities to interact with everyday people who aren’t aware they’re being filmed.
Repeat After Me airs Tuesdays (8:30 p.m. ET) on ABC.
