Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on the popular show, has confirmed she is expecting her second child.
The 41-year-old actress revealed her baby will be born this summer but did not give any other details, such as the name of the father. The actress was most recently linked to her former co-star, Pedro Pascal.
Headey issued a statement saying, “I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer. I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”
Lena is already mom to son Wylie, almost 5, with musician Peter Loughran, who she divorced in 2013.
The actress has been rumored to be dating 39-year-old Pedro Pascal, the Chilean actor that played Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones until he was killed off at the end of season four.
In a Reddit Q&A last year, Pedro gushed over Lena.
He said, “Lena is one of my favorite persons. And she is so funny and so smart, such a good person, a good friend and a good mother. I think everyone on that set and anyone who comes in contact with her develops an instant crush.”
