A former Power Ranger has been arrested for allegedly murdering his roommate with a sword.

Ricardo Medina Jr, 37, was arrested in Palmdale, California on Saturday, charged with killing Joshua Sutter by stabbing him in the abdomen.

Medina, who reportedly called 911 himself, was taken into custody by the LA County Sheriff’s Department,

Ricardo and Stutter got into a physical altercation for unknown reasons before the stabbing.

LASD Deputy Mike Barraza confirmed Medina was a former red Power Ranger. He has credits for multiple projects related to the franchise on his International Movie Database page including the 2002-2003 TV show “Power Rangers Wild Force” and 2011’s “Power Rangers Samurai.”

According to the report Medina had been fleeing Sutter when the stabbing took place.

He allegedly ran into his girlfriend’s room after an argument broke out, with Sutter, 36, following him and forcing the door open.

Medina then stabbed Sutter in the abdomen with a sword kept next to the bedroom door.

The actor has been booked for murder at the Palmdale sheriff’s station and was held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Joshua Sutter was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
