Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has a reputation for being a really cool guy, living up to the title by his act of kindness during their Sydney show.
The 46-year-old singer noticed a banner being held by a blind man in the front row at their show on Wednesday.
The poster read, “drum stick for a blind guy plz”.
Dave asked for a drumstick from the band’s drummer, Taylor Hawkins, and handed it off to the fan in between songs.
Dave singled the man out and the crowd of 52,000 fans cheered, making certain he received an awesome momento.
The band kicked off the Australian leg of their Sonic Highways world tour in Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium before taking to the Sydney stage on Wednesday night.
Grohl and the Foo Fighters treated fans to some old favorites and some classic covers from their 20-year career.
