Country singer Eric Church has become a dad for the second time.
The Springsteen singer and his wife Katherine welcomed son Tennessee Hawkins on Sunday. He joins his three-year-old big brother, Boone McCoy.
The couple welcomed their son on Sunday, February 15. They shared the news on Thursday on Facebook.
The baby boy, whom they plan to call Hawk for short, weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., and is 21 inches long.
Church, 37, writes, “I’m thrilled that Hawk and his mom are doing well. We aren’t sleeping very much, but we are enjoying every part of this incredible journey. I’m very blessed and thankful.”
The newborn’s arrival came a week after the Grammy Awards, and Eric previously admits he was worried his wife would go into labor during the awards show.
He said, “It’s bad both ways. If she goes into labor at the Grammys, that will be an interesting night for all of us. I told her if we could just make it to the day after the Grammys we’re good.”
Church and his wife married in North Carolina in 2008. Church was born in Granite Falls, N.C.
His hit songs include “Talladega”, “Cold One”, and “Drink in My Hand.”
