Taryn Manning’s stalker has been sentenced to 45 days in the slammer, but was also ordered to take part in an inpatient psychiatric treatment program.
The Orange Is The New Black actress had been harassed by her former friend, who violated a restraining order.
Janine Heller pleaded guilty to harassing the actress.
Heller continued to violate a restraining order that Taryn Manning obtained over the summer.
In the beginning of the month, she texted Manning and decided to share a “manifesto claiming to outline the history of the relationship” between the two to the popular site Reddit.
In one of those several text messages she sent Manning, she said, “I miss you. Don’t ruin your pretty smile with cigarettes. This is your fairy godmother.”
Heller sent another to the actress, texting, “I was in the hospital last month. I tried to kill myself. I don’t know why you teamed up to hurt me.”
The last time we heard about this case, Taryn was on the wrong side of the law. She was arrested in November after allegedly threatening to kill her stalker.
There were reports that Taryn Manning sent a text message to Heller that stated, “I will kill you, b****. Go f**k yourself and die … What’s taking so long? Shouldn’t you be dead by now?”
Heller will enter an inpatient psychiatric treatment after she completes her 45 days in jail. Her treatment will last for 7-10 days and she will then have to join an outpatient program for three weeks.
