Talk about Boy Meets World! Rider Strong and wife Alexandra Barreto are first-time parents after welcoming a baby boy.
Alexandra gave birth at the end of December, with the couple naming their son Indigo “Indy” Barretto Strong.
Alexandra, 39, gave birth on December 28 to the couple’s first child.
Rider, 35, and Alexandra tied the knot in October 2013 at a summer camp site in Oregon.
The camp-themed wedding celebration featured guests sleeping in bunks at the campsite and a party that included a ropes course, games and a talent show.
Strong and Barreto started dating in 2006 after they co-starred in the short-lived Rebecca Romijn television series, Pepper Dennis.
The sitcom was canceled after just three months, but Rider and Alexandra’s romantic relationship continued.
Rider is best known for playing Shawn Hunter on Boy Meets World that also starred Ben Savage, Betsy Randle, Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and William Daniels.
Danielle got married to husband Tim Belusko in Los Angeles a day before Rider and Alexandra’s wedding in Oregon. She has reprised her role as Topanga in the recent spin-off Girl Meets World that also features Ben as her husband Cory Matthews.
Rider has returned for a few episodes of the spin-off and also directed an episode.
