Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein campaign has been the subject of much debate, with many believing he had a little help from Photoshop – something he and his team deny.
SNL took on the controversy in a hilarious skit last night, with Kate McKinnon reprising her role as Justin Bieber.
McKinnon flexed and pouted as she did a great job of impersonating the 20-year-old singer, as she proclaimed, “I’m a big boy now”.
Kate (as Bieber) pointed to her tattoos, saying one made her say “owie”.
At one point, McKinnon as Bieber asked, “Are my muscles cute?” before sniffing her armpit and gagging at the smell.
Kate channeled Justin’s defiant attitude, stating, “I’m not supposed to drink…but I do”, as he sips on a juicebox.
She appeared exhausted from the underwear modeling, saying, “Yo! All this underwear is making me tired”.
After kicking the female model (pretending to be Lara Stone), they show Bieber hogging the limelight.
She exclaimed, “My Calvins, clothes for my big wiener”.
In the photo, the singer was mysteriously missing the super-muscular physique and the crotch bulge.
Justin Bieber’s team insisted the photos had not been altered and demanded the website remove the photo and issue a retraction.
BreatheHeavy issued this statement, “Because BreatheHeavy is not about making anyone feel bad or intentionally stirring the pot (and are definitely not here for lawsuits), we shall retract the story per request. Bieber denies the photo is real, and I respect that and will believe him.”
Bieber also posted a photo fresh from his shower and wrapped in a towel, captioning the picture “Photoshop lol”.
Sadly, the photo did little to change people’s minds about the pictures being doctored.
