It sometimes feels we report on more celebrity splits and divorces than happier moments in the lives of celebrities.
But it’s not all gloom and doom, some Hollywood couples have been together a very long time and are still going strong!
We want to highlight some actual successful celebrity relationships!
Victoria and David Beckham
Victoria and David first met during a charity soccer match in 1997, which led to the soccer star requesting a meeting with the Spice Girls star, Posh Spice.
Victoria admitted that she didn’t really know who David was and wasn’t really into sports. But that fact didn’t stop them from falling for one another.
The couple got married in 1999. They have been happily married for 15 years now, and have four children together – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and a daughter, Harper.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
This couple may not officially be married, but have been together for 21 years. Both Goldie and Kurt had been married once before meeting, so maybe that put them off on tying the knot.
The couple met when filming The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1968, but only started dating when they worked together on the movie Swing Shift in 1983.
They have one son together, Wyatt Russell who is a former professional hockey player. Goldie had son Oliver Hudson and daughter Kate Hudson from her first marriage. Kurt had a son from his first marriage, Boston Russell, who was born in 1980.
Ali Hewson and Bono
U2’s Bono and wife Ali Hewson have been married since 1982. The marriage started off rough because they were in debt with Bono’s record label and couldn’t afford to go on a honeymoon.
The couple lived in a small home in Ireland with the rest of the U2 band members. As the band began to get more popular, Ali Hewson found it difficult to adjust to her husband’s new fame. She would make the effort to join U2 at trendy nightclubs and events, but reportedly wasn’t comfortable in the limelight.
Ali obtained a degree in social sciences while Bono was touring. The couple now have four children together.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones
Michael and Catherine met in 1998 at a film festival in 1998. The 25-year age gap may not be the easiest, but they have appeared to make it work.
