Desiree Hartsock starred on the ABC dating show, The Bachelorette, finding love with Chris Siegfried.
Hartsock and Siegfried tied the knot on Sunday in Palos Verdes, California.
The 28-year-old bridal stylist and her mortgage banker beau got engaged on camera during the season nine finale in Antigua, which aired in August 2013.
Now she is a bachelorette no more!
Desiree walked down the aisle in a one-shoulder lace dress by Maggie Sottero with a sheer overlay at the neckline and long train. Her hair was side parted and worn down in waves with one side clipped back behind her ear”.
The romantic wedding ceremony was reportedly short but sweet.
An insider said, “They kept it very short and they walked out holding hands and kissing”.
After getting engaged, Us Weekly reported in October 2013 that Desiree and Chris were planning for a lavish wedding with ABC cameras recording every step of the way.
But the couple didn’t want to wait any longer.
A source stated, “They were so excited to get married. They didn’t want to wait another day. When Chris first saw Des walking down the aisle he was amazed at how beautiful she was.”
Desiree competed for Sean Lowe’s heart on the 17th season of The Bachelor, losing out to contestant Catherine Giudici.
She went on to star in her own season of The Bachelorette and chose Chris, who proposed with a a Neil Lane diamond ring.
The January 21st issue of Us Weekly will include exclusive photos from Desiree and Chris’ intimate wedding.
Hartsock told Ryan Seacrest of finally finding the right guy, “I just think when you know, you know. And I know Chris and I are going to last and I know we’re going to get married and have a future. I feel our relationship started very naturally, and to be honest, we are each other’s best friends. I truly believe, regardless of the show, or if we met at a coffee shop, we’d still be together.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
