Nadji Jeter was arrested on Saturday for investigation of driving under the influence of marijuana in Burbank, California.
The 18-year-old actor, who is best known for playing the son of Chris Rock’s character in the Grown Ups movies, was pulled over shortly after 7 pm for an alleged traffic violation.
Police officers smelled marijuana as they approached his vehicle and believed Jeter had been smoking while driving.
He was given a drug test following his arrest but the results were not yet available.
Burbank Police Sergeant Scott Meadows said on Sunday, January 18 that Nadji was pulled over shortly after 7:00 P.M. for an alleged traffic violation.
Sgt. Meadows revealed that there were three female passengers in Nadji’s car.
The 18-year-old actor was released on Sunday morning after he was sober. He was given a misdemeanor citation.
Nadji is best known for his role as Andres McKenzie in “Grown Ups” and its sequel “Grown Ups 2”.He also had a featured role in the recent BET series Reed Between The Lines.
Jeter also has had roles in the television shows Castle, Grey’s Anatomy and Everybody Hates Chris.
Nadji can be seen in the upcoming movie “The 5th Wave” along with Chloe Moretz, Nick Robinson, Liev Schreiber and Ron Livingston. The sci-fi thriller is set to hit U.S. theaters on January 29, 2016.
