Topher Grace, 36, proposed to actress Ashley Hinshaw last week, showing off her engagement ring at the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala on Saturday.
The couple have managed to keep their relationship on the down-low, but insiders reveal they have been dating for at least a year.
Hinshaw, 26, who has starred on True Blood and Agent Carter, and recently joined the cast of HBO’s True Detective for its second season.
An insider said Topher, who is best known for his portrayal of Eric Forman on the Fox sitcom “That ’70s Show,” popped the question less than a week ago.
An insider said, “She was totally in shock and so happy”.
Topher and Ashley recently attended the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in Santa Monica, but avoided being photographed together.
Ashley was spotted wearing a diamond ring on the red carpet.
An eyewitness at the event said that Grace and Hinshaw held hands as they talked to their friends. One of their friends shouted, “Topher’s engaged” while another pal asked the “About Cherry” star to see her engagement ring, saying that he “did good” in picking the jewelry.
Topher previously dated businesswoman Ivanka Trump in 2006. He also dated his “Take Me Home Tonight” co-star, Teresa Palmer, in mid- to late 2007. They reunited in 2009 after she broke up with Russell Brand, and later split again.
Grace can be next seen on the big screen in the biographical drama “Truth” and in the action comedy “American Ultra,” which also stars Kristen Stewart, Walton Goggins and Connie Britton among many others.
He’s also currently filming the thriller “Home” and the comedy musical “One Shot,” which tells the story of a failed Broadway singer who now works as a production manager and must save the opening night of his new production by wrangling his eccentric cast and crew.
