Former Desperate Housewives and Dallas star, Brenda Strong, is engaged to actor and director John Farmanesh-Bocca.
The 54-year-old actress finalized her divorce from Tom Henri in 2013, after splitting in 2010.
Strong confirmed her engagement in the February issue of Closer Weekly.
The actress said, “This came completely by surprise on all levels. I have so much to look forward to with him and out lives together.”
Brenda and John met when they did a play together several years ago but didn’t start dating until two years later.
The couple was seen cuddling on the red carpet in August at the HBO Luxury Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Brenda said of her engagement, “The best is yet to come. We are so happy. I honestly never thought I would find somebody else that I could spend the rest of my life with.”
Strong was married to Henri from 1989 to 2010, with their divorce finalized in 2013. They have a 20-year-old son together named Zak, who has appeared in Awkward and Bunheads.
Brenda is best known for her Emmy winning performance as Mary Alice Young on the ABC television comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives from 2004-2012. She also starred as Ann Ewing on the TNT drama series Dallas from 2012 to 2014.
John Farmanesh-Bocca can be seen in the upcoming television movie, Stanistan. John was also the producer of the documentary, Fallen.
