Singer Alicia Keys has given birth to her second child, a baby boy named Genesis Ali.
Keys and Swizz Beatz welcomed their second son on Saturday, taking to social media to announce their happy news.
The 33-year-old Grammy singer posted on Instagram, “The joy of joy is joy!! It’s a boy!! we are so grateful!”
Swizz and Alicia’s son Genesis Ali Dean was born at 1:52 a.m., weighing 6 lbs., 5 oz.
The couple, who are already parents to a 4-year-old son named Egypt Daoud, said their eldest son was excited to be a big brother.
Keys told People in October, “I think he’s super excited because he’s not going to be the youngest anymore. He’s always kissing my belly.”
Beatz, 36, is also dad to daughter Nicole and sons Prince Nasir and Kasseem from previous relationships.
Alicia and Swizz announced in July that they were adding another baby to their family.
“Happy anniversary to the love of my life,” Keys wrote on Instagram. “And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!”
The singer posted a photo on Sunday on Instagram of her newborn son’s feet and birth weight.
