LeAnn Rimes gave an odd performance of “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting event in New York on Wednesday night.
The singer’s outfit was cute, but maybe not the best choice for a family performance.
Viewers of LeAnn’s performance took to social media to criticize her choice of attire.
Rimes wore a black leather bustier and black skirt with a thigh-high slit that revealed her thigh-high stockings.
Other viewers appeared to agree.
We have to admit LeAnn is wearing more clothing than many pop stars do these days, but it seemed odd with the song she was performing.
LeAnn Rimes recently released “One Christmas: Chapter 1,” the first of three planned holiday-themed EPs. In the album Rimes covered some traditional sings including “Silent Night Holy Night” and “Blue Christmas” as well as the song “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”
What did you guys think of her performance? Cute or rather cringe-worthy?
If we are all being honest, most of us don’t like LeAnn because of her very public cheating scandal. Not to mention her annoying attitude!
