*NSYNC star Lance Bass and Michael Turchin are set to make television history by broadcasting their wedding for a 90-minute E! special on February 5.
The special Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding will be the first television broadcast of a celebrity marriage between two men.
Bass, 35, said in June, “I literally called Michael last night and said, ‘Babe, we have to plan something. I’m tired of telling everyone we haven’t done anything yet!'”.
The former boyband popped the question to the Sirius XM personality last year and then proposed again on August 31.
Turchin said, “Who gets proposed to a second time on the first anniversary of the first proposal?? This guy!!!”, sharing a photo of his beautiful black diamond band.
The wedding ceremony special will include a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their lives leading up to the altar.
Lance Bass has invited all four of his *NSYNC bandmates, including Justin Timberlake.
But Lance said not to expect another reunion at the event. He joked, “I doubt we’ll be performing Bye Bye Bye. I think it’s a little cheesy if I sing at all at my wedding.”
Lisa Vanderpump, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher have also been invited to the nuptials planned by Sharon Sacks.
Lance , who has dated Michael for three years, came out publicly as a gay man in 2006.
The singer had exclusively dated women up until that point, including Boy Meets World’s Danielle Fishel.
Michael Turchin is known as Turkey Turchin on Sirius XM’s Dirty Pop.
