Lance Bass is a married man now!
The 35-year-old NSYNC star tied the knot with Michael Turchin, 27, at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Lance and Michael exchanged vows they had written themselves in front of around 300 guests, which included some famous faces.
Lance’s bandmates Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick were all there, but Justin Timberlake couldn’t be at the wedding because he is on his The 20/20 Experience World Tour.
Lisa Vanderpump, Gabourey Sidibe, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, and AJ McLean were amongst the other guests at the bash, which had a ‘royal wedding’ meets ‘Met Ball’ dress code.
Lance told Brides magazine of the wedding, “We’ve asked everyone to come dressed for a royal wedding meets the Met Ball, so I’m expecting some crazy high fashion. I want our guests to look back at photos from our wedding and think, ‘That’s the best I’ve ever looked in my entire life.'”
Lance and Michael’s close friends Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow from The Sopranos) and Joanna Garcia Swisher officiated the ceremony.
Just last month Jamie-Lynn and her long time friend spoke on Lance’s radio show, Dirty Pop, about the decision to have the women and friend officiate the wedding.
Bass said, “We’ve asked our two best girlfriends to officiate this wedding because I cannot think of two better people to give us away. These two know us the best. Jamie has been part of my life for so many years, she knows where all the bodies are buried.”
The former boybander officially came out as gay in 2006.
Bass said of his now-husband, “Michael gets my crazy life and he fits perfectly into it. We’re best friends.”
Michael added, “There’s no one in the world that makes me laugh more than Lance. He’s just such an incredible person. I couldn’t imagine waking up next to anybody else.”
The wedding will air in a 90-minute E! special called Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding on February 5 at 8pm ET/PT.
