Keira Knightley and her musician husband James Righton are expecting their first child!
The British actress is reportedly three months along already.
Knightley, who received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination yesterday for her role in The Imitation Game, has been wearing oversized clothing to cover up her growing bump.
Knightley and Righton married in May 2013 in the South of France after dating for two years.
The Imitation Game beauty refrained from drinking at Sunday’s Moët British Independent Spirit Awards, with her husband on her arm during the evening.
The 29-year-old actress previously told Vogue that she didn’t plan to be a stay-at-home mother, but feels women or men should be allowed to do that without being criticized.
Knightley said, “Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.”
Hello Magazine says that Keira has also been vocal recently about starting a family. Knightley said she would be hesitant about encouraging her children to take up the acting profession.
The actress said, “It can be completely heartbreaking for most people who do it, because the amount of rejection is enormous. And it doesn’t matter what kind of person you are, it’s impossible for that not to take a toll … So I would say to my daughter, ‘Be a doctor or a lawyer — something stable and useful.'”
Keira Knightley will go up against Meryl Streep, Naomi Watts, Emma Stone, and Patricia Arquette at the SAG Awards on Jan. 25.
