Matt Bellamy & Kate Hudson split?
Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have split and called off their wedding, after four years together.

The couple confirmed via Kate’s representative that they were no longer engaged on Monday as reports suggested the actress has already moved on with Derek Hough.

Hudson’s rep said in a statement, “Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now. Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.”

Kate and Matt share son Bingham Hawn Bellamy, who was born July 2011, and Kate has a 10-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson (frontman of the Black Crowes).

Matt Bellamy & Kate Hudson headed for split?

The couple had been appearing on the red carpet together, despite the fact that the rep said they split some time ago.

The “Almost Famous” star and the 36-year-old Muse rocker were also looking like a couple on November 21 when they both attended Goldie Hawn’s birthday bash.

There are reports that Kate has “hooked up” with professional dancer Derek Hough.

Derek Hough dating Kate Hudson?

Kate and Derek were spotted dancing the night away last November at Cuban restaurant in Hollywood.

Hudson spoke to Shape magazine last year, saying, “My heart is really in contemporary jazz, but lately I’ve been ballroom dancing with Derek Hough. It’s been a real blast.”

Matt and Kate have been engaged since April 2011, with Kate saying the long engagement did not bother her as her parents Goldie and Kurt Russell were happily unmarried.

Kate told Women’s Health in October’s edition, “My parents aren’t married and one of the reasons why they never got married is because they had been married before and they liked it the way it was. They didn’t feel like they needed a piece of paper to be committed.”

Kate was previously married to Ryder’s father, Chris, for six years with the pair split in November 2006.
