Hayden Panettiere is thrilled over welcoming her first child with boxing champion fiance, Wladimir Klitschko. But the petite actress said her body feels wrecked after giving birth.
The actress said she feels “like an 80-year-old woman” trying to go down the stairs.
The 25-year-old actress said she’s been recovering from labor and noticing all the changes in her body in an article on Tuesday in People magazine.
Hayden said, “I’m limping around. I’m still trying to figure out what [pregnancy] has done to my body, how it’s changed it. What’s temporary and what’s permanent. I feel like an 80-year-old woman trying to go down the stairs, you know, please tell me this is temporary. But I know some things will never be the same again”.
Hayden and 38-year-old Wladimir welcomed Kaya Evdokia on December 9, weighing in at 7 lbs, 14 oz and measuring 20 inches long.
The couple shared the first photo of Kaya, who is just adorable.
The Nashville star said she recently slept through the night thanks to her future mother-in-law.
Panettiere revealed, “Wlad’s mom was desperate to take the baby for a night. She looks like she didn’t get much sleep, but I feel well-rested!”
The blonde beauty is in awe of her baby girl, saying, “You’re suddenly looking at this little thing like ‘Oh, that was you in my belly this whole time’. [We’re] just getting to know her”.
Hayden adds, “She’s really so sweet. I’m sure that’s the way it’s meant to be, because when they are putting you through the ringer you’re like, ‘You are so lucky you’re cute!'”
Wladimir, whose nickname is ‘Dr. Steelhammer,’ is the current WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO World Heavyweight Champion.
