P. Diddy and Drake were involved in a brawl outside of Liv at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami on Sunday night, with first reports claiming the fight was over Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie.
But it has now revealed the fight was all about Drake allegedly using music without proper rights.
The scuffle reportedly began when the 45-year-old Ciroc spokesman claimed Drake had been using music without the proper rights.
Both Drizzy and Diddy had been at the same club for DJ Khaled’s birthday party. Diddy, 45, and Drake, 28, were actually fighting over music rights outside of club, LIV in Miami.
During the discussion, voices were raised and then Diddy said, “You will never disrespect me”.
The argument became physical and Drake wound up injured.
Rick Ross’ DJ, Sam Sneaker, was also in attendance at the star-studded party, and tweeted his account of the events.
The DJ also specified the injury that Drake had allegedly suffered, tweeting, “He dislocated his Shoulder.”
A third account speculated that the problem may have been anger left over from when Drake disrespected Diddy at the NBA All-Star weekend.
Drake frustrated the rapper when he took the microphone out of his hand when they were performing together at the Metropolitan Club in New Orleans along with Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Kevin Hart, and Fabolous.
Drake’s mic wasn’t working when he began his song “Worst Behavior”. He threw his mic to the ground and took Diddy’s out of his hand.
