Scott Foley and Marika Dominczyk have welcomed their third child!
The “Scandal” actor and “Brothers & Sisters” star welcomed a baby boy earlier this week.
The 42-year-old actor and his 34-year-old wife welcomed son Konrad Foley on November 13.
His rep said in a statement, “The Foley family is overjoyed”.
Scott also tweeted on Wednesday, “Thank you for all of the well wishes! @TheMeanChick and I are truly fortunate. And tired.”
Scott appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 30, revealing that his wife’s due date was near. He told Kimmel, “My wife actually told me, ‘Don’t turn your phone off!’ So, that’s how close we are.”
Foley told the late-night host, “I could use some tips. I have two [daughter Malina, 4, and son Keller, 2], but you sort of forget what happens. I know that the first six months, if memory serves, is the worst time of your life. As happy as you are to have a kid, mind you, the first six months my wife and I fight more than we ever fight.”
“Our relationship the first six months is based solely on guilt…We always have the conversation, like, ‘OK, we don’t both need to be up in the middle of the night. One of us should get some sleep so the other one can take care of the other two kids,'” Foley explained. “But I know that if I don’t get up with her in the middle of the night, the next day she’s going to be so tired that she’s going to complain.”
The actor said he and Marika liked to keep the gender of their unborn child a surprise, but that it annoyed family members and friends.
He said, “People are really upset because they want to give you gifts, and it is completely opposite of what most people would want. They want to plan it out. They want to know exactly what’s going to happen,” he said. “And they really take out their sort of compulsions on you. It’s not friendly.”
