Sean Bean loves being married…or at least getting married!
The former “Game of Thrones” actor, who played Eddard Stark, has proposed to 29-year-old former nanny Ashley Moore.
The 55-year-old star’s decision to tie the knot again comes just three years after he insisted marriage didn’t suit him.
Bean previously stated, “Of course I believe in love. There is nobody who doesn’t believe in love. But marriage – that fits some people but obviously not me.”
It appears he is singing a different tune now!
The “Lord of the Rings” actor first married his childhood sweetheart Debra James in 1981 at the age of 21. They split seven years later.
Sean then tied the knot with actress Melanie Hill, whom he dated for 15 years but was married to Hill for seven years. They have two daughters together – Lorna, 27, and Molly, 23.
The actor then tied the knot in 1997 to his “Sharpe” co-star, Abigail Cruttenden. They welcomed a daughter named Evie the following year, but slit months later and were divorced in 2000.
Bean’s fourth marriage was to Georgina Sutcliffe, who is 20 years his junior. Sean and Georgina wed in 2008, but they split after two years together. The couple said they found life together “intolerable”.
Sean Bean doesn’t have the best track record in relationships. Maybe the fifth time is the charm? We somehow doubt it.
