Mama June denies the rumors, but TLC obviously felt they had enough proof to decide to cancel the show.
Shannon released a video message on Facebook this morning to address TLC cancelling “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”.
She continues to deny that she is involved with a convicted child sex offender.
In the dark and grainy video, June confirms that the show was axed but maintains her innocence.
She stated, “Me and Sugar Bear really have broke up but we are friends and we have stayed civil. We’re better off friends than we were a couple.”
A person in the background is heard yelling “shut up” as she wraps up her little “truth video”.
She adds, “Things happen for a reason in life and you live and learn. We do love y’all and we care about y’all. We grately appreciate ever one of y’all and from the bottom of our heart we want to let y’all know that.”
TLC confirmed they cancelled the hit reality series and will not air the fourth season that was already filmed.
The decision came a day after a photograph emerged that showed Mama June in bed with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel.
McDaniel was recently released from prison after serving 10 years for molesting one of then-girlfriend June’s family members, who was only eight years-old.
June may continue denying she’s hooking up with McDaniel, but there appears to be proof behind the reports.
She is said to have purchased gifts forMcDaniel, even going shopping for a used car last month for the ex-con.
A dealership near her home that she visited revealed she said she was shopping for a car for her daughter. Sources claim she was secretly trying to find one for Mark.
TLC cancelled the series “compelling evidence” that led them to believe June is secretly dating the child molester.
Shannon has more than a cancelled reality show to worry about though. Now Child Protective Services (CPS) and the local Sheriff’s Department are looking into the situation.
