Sarah Goldberg, who went by the stage name Sarah Danielle Madison, died in her sleep at her family’s Wisconsin cabin.
The actress was only 40 years-old.
Sarah, who played the wife of Matt Camden (Barry Watson) on the WB show, died in her sleep.
Her family believes her death was due to a heart condition.
Goldberg, from Chicago, had movie roles in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “Training Day”, also appeared in television shows such as “Judging Amy”, “Without A Trace”, “House”, and “7th Heaven”.
Sarah was devoted to animal rescue. Her family requested that instead of flowers, donations be sent to the Sarah Goldberg Memorial Fund at PAWS, 1997 N Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614.
She is survived by her parents, Judy and Bill Goldberg, her brother Bradley, her niece and her nephew along with many extended family members and close friends.
