Ashlee Simpson married Evan Ross on Sunday in a private ceremony in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The couple were married at the sprawling estate of the groom’s famous mother, singer Diana Ross, with Jessica Simpson serving as her sister’s maid of honor.
Ashlee’s five-year-old son Bronx walked his mother down the aisle.
This is the second walk down the aisle for Ashlee, 29, who previously was married to Bronx’s father Pete Wentz from 2008 until 2011.
Ashlee wore a pearl-embellished long sleeved wedding dress and $750,000 worth of Neil Lane rubies and diamonds along with a tiara.
An eyewitness said, “The bride wore wore her hair down in beachy waves, and her groom sported a black velvet tux with a white silk trim”.
The wedding had a bohemian vibe, featuring tents and dream catchers.
Ashlee’s famous sister Jessica’s daughter Maxwell, 2, was the flower girl. Her 14-month-old son Ace served as the ring bearer.
Evan Ross’ half-sister Tracee Ellis Ross served as MC of the event. His famous mother Diana, 70, was also expected to perform.
Ashlee and Evan began dating in July 2012 and announced their engagement in January on Twitter.
Ashlee was presented with a one-of-a-kind five-carat vintage-inspired Neil Lane engagement ring.
The couple were recently spotted celebrating Ross’ birthday on Aug. 26 at STK Downtown in New York, where a source says, “They were excited and talking about the upcoming wedding. Evan and Ashlee were kissing each other nonstop all night.”
Congrats to Ashlee and Evan on their marriage!
