Los Angeles Police were called to Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood on Monday night, after Justin Bieber was accused of trying to steal a snap-happy fan’s cell phone.
Twitter users reported seeing the 20-year-old and on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez at the establishment just before the alleged incident occurred.
Bieber is believed to have lunged at the amateur photographer in an attempt to grab his phone and delete the images.
Justin’s security guys reported grabbed Justin before he made contact with the man.
Law enforcement sources reveal the snapper wants to press charges against Justin for attempted battery, attempted theft and attempted robbery.
A LAPD spokeswoman confirmed that the police had been called to the Hollywood and Highland Dave & Busters at around 9:30 p.m.
But a police officer said no one was charged over the alleged theft and it was a “big lot of nothing”. The cop said, “There’s been no fight, no scuffle and no crime occurred.”
Justin had posted a video of himself on Vine playing skeeball earlier that evening. The restaurant was celebrating its first official day opening to the public when the incident occurred.
In May, the LAPD were called to a mini golf course after a woman claimed the singer himself took her phone.
The woman said Justin grabbed the phone because he thought she was taking pictures of him at the San Fernando Valley course, police reported at the time. The case was later dropped.
Can’t a guy have an evening out with his girl without everyone trying to take photos?
