Adorable actress Emma Stone made an appearance on David Letterman’s talk show last night, revealing she is visited by her dead grandfather.
She believes that her late grandpa leaves her quarters lying around.
Emma explained, “There’s a long family history with quarters. My grandfather leaves quarters. And it’s just amazing. It’s him! It’s absolutely him. It’s such a long story that you’d have to go to commercial five times and roll to a clip and then come back and I’d still be telling the story. But it’s him, you guys, it’s him!”
Letterman didn’t appear to be convinced by her story, needing scientific proof.
But Emma insisted, “That’s the joy of it! It’s not a logical thing – it’s magical.” She added, “Like ectoplasm.”
The “Zombieland” star actually plays a fortune teller named Sophie Baker for her movie “Magic in the Moonlight”.
The Woody Allen romantic comedy, which hits theaters on July 25, also stars Colin Firth and it’s set in the 1920s South of France.
Stone will next star in the comedy “Birdman”, alongside Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, and Naomi Watts. It comes out October 17.
